PENGHARGAAN

Kedua anakku Sarah dan Gilang mendapat penghargaan dari Bpk Dubes RI di Qatar dalam bidang olahraga khususnya tenis pada hari Sumpah Pemuda. Penghargaan ini bukanlah menjadi ukuran pencapain prestasi mereka tetapi lebih kepada konsistensi diri tetap berlatih dan berlatih. Di kala anak sebaya mereka asyik bermain anak-anak berlatih di lapangan tenis meski panas dan dingin yang terkadang tidak bersahabat di Doha ini. Berita ini dimuat di harian lokal Doha Qatar. Indonesians commemorate Youth Pledge

DOHA • The Indonesian Mission in Doha held a flag-raising ceremony on Friday to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Youth Pledge. Youth Pledge, which promoted the idea of a united Indonesia, was proclaimed on October 28, 1928, when the nation was still carrying out its movement towards independence.
Members of the Indonesian community attended the flag-raising ceremony held at the Embassy premises. Presiding over the ceremony, Indonesian Ambassador H M Rozy Munir invited young Indonesians in Qatar to maintain the spirit of unity initiated by the Indonesian youth long ago. The Ambassador also advised them to contribute their best to build the nation, and increase their achievements in various fields.
During the ceremony Ambassador Munir distributed awards to young generations of Indonesian community for their outstanding achievements in photography and in sports. It is hoped that the awards will inspire young Indonesians here to follow the footsteps of their high-achieving comrades.
